This class offers lessons to learn the Japanese language necessary for studying at Japanese vocational schools, universities, and graduate schools,

specializing in either liberal arts or sciences.

Lesson Curriculum

  1.  Japanese language lessons focused on improving EJU scores, including comprehensive subjects.
     

  2. Career guidance and consultation until the application period.
     

  3. Support for writing statements of purpose, parallel to Japanese language lessons, tailored to the application period.
     

  4. Interview coaching and practice sessions scheduled according to the interview dates.

​This class focuses on Japanese language expression

for self-expression and mindset necessary for studying

at Japanese art vocational schools and fine arts universities.

Lesson Curriculum

  1. Developing conversation skills emphasized in fine arts universities and vocational schools, ranging from basic conversational topics like "What is your favorite food?" to more complex and open-ended discussions about values and beliefs.
     

  2. Career guidance and consultation until the application period.
     

  3. Support for writing statements of purpose during the application period.
     

  4. Interview coaching and practice sessions scheduled according to the interview dates.

JLPT Intensive Class

JLPT Intensive Class

​A three-month intensive class focusing on vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension for the JLPT, with techniques for quickly finding correct answers and explanations of commonly mistaken grammar points.

Classes will be held with the participation of

two or more students. ​

Lesson Curriculum

First half (1.5 months):

Basic exercises using textbooks to familiarize with JLPT questions.


Second half (1.5 months):

Timed mock exams and focused feedback on commonly mistaken questions.

Japanese Beginner to Intermediate Class

This class is centered around "Marugoto" to solidify the basics of Japanese language learning for beginner and lower intermediate learners at J-CALP.
 

Classes will be held with the participation of

two or more students. 

Lesson Curriculum

  1. Comprehensive learning method - Developing the four skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in a balanced way through "Marugoto."
     

  2. Strengthening kanji and vocabulary - Learning important beginner-level kanji and vocabulary through "Nihongo Soumatome N5/N4."
     

  3. Solidifying grammar basics - Understanding and practicing fundamental grammar through "Marugoto."
     

  4. Enhancing reading comprehension - Developing reading skills with diverse themes through "Marugoto Reading Selected Themes 25+10 for Lower Intermediate."
     

  5. Strengthening conversational skills - Enhancing everyday communication abilities through practical conversation practices with "Speech."

J-CALP offers customized option lessons for the creation of essential documents for studying abroad,

such as statements of purpose and research proposals,

as well as interview coaching.

Lesson Curriculum

Statement of Purpose & Research Proposal Support Lessons:

  1. School research & career consultation - Individual support for selecting schools and career advice.

  2. Method of writing a statement of purpose - Learning effective writing methods using J-CALP's original "How to Write a Statement of Purpose."

  3. Document creation and feedback - Creating statements of purpose according to specified formats and receiving detailed feedback from instructors.
     

EJU Description & Essay Writing Lessons:

  1. Basics of description and essay writing - Instruction using J-CALP's original "EJU Description Notebook" and "How to Write and Structure an Essay."

  2. Composition and feedback - Writing essays and receiving specific advice from instructors.


Interview Coaching:

  1. Learning interview basics - Using "Interview Tips" and "Interview List" to learn interview manners and rules.

  2. Practical role-play - Aiming for natural conversations through role-playing with instructors.

TOEFL/TOEIC Preparation English Class

A class lesson focusing on improving TOEFL/TOEIC scores and preparing for English interviews, essential for preparing to study in Japan.
 

Classes will be held with the participation of

two or more students. 


Class lessons will focus solely on TOEFL preparation.

J-CALP's Japanese study abroad preparation English lessons are specialized for improving TOEFL scores and enhancing English interview skills for learners aiming to study in Japan.
Experienced native English speakers proficient in Japanese provide expert guidance and practical learning through role-playing.
